living.art.sculpture
As the collective behind Luft & Laune e.V., we continuously seek to create innovative and unexpected interventions that inspire festival audiences and encourage creative exchange. Through immersive actions and site-specific installations, we aim to open spaces for reflection, interaction, and shared artistic experience.
The monumental Titanickhalle became the ideal environment to expand these ambitions. The realization of living.art.sculpture — a collaborative project developed through multidisciplinary workshops — emerged directly from the core philosophy on which Luft & Laune is built: collective creation, experimentation, and the transformation of space through art.

Concept
At the center of the performance stood a monumental rotating cube, imposing a powerful sense of tension and weight within the vast concrete factory. Suspended in a seemingly fragile balance, the sound artists created an immersive sonic dialogue — physically separated by the sharp edge of the cube projecting into the space between them, as though communication itself had been interrupted or forbidden.
A spatial 16-channel surround sound composition enveloped the audience, drawing visitors into an altered perceptual state where everyday reality slowly dissolved into vibration, resonance, and atmosphere.
Responding to the evolving soundscape — at times intensifying, at times meditative — dancers translated these shifting energies into movement and physical expression; or perhaps the choreography itself became the catalyst for the sonic transformation.
As daylight faded, generative visual projections emerged across the architecture, reacting live to the changing dynamics of sound, movement, and space. Diverse artistic disciplines intertwined continuously, dissolving their boundaries and merging into one immersive and unified experience.
